At Bel-Air Bowl Belleville,IL in conjunction with our annual Meeting. Our annual meeting will be conducted

Immediately after the tournament at which time we will be provided a Bar-B-Que luncheon with drinks.

There is only one shift for this tournament. No points for Bowler of the Year will be awarded. Check in is no later than 9.00pm. Entry fee is $35 for the regular 5 game handicap event.

SENIORS: There will be no separate Seniors event for this tournament but we would still like to see you participate

ANNUAL MEETING & BAR-B-QUE: You do not have sign up for the tournament to participate in the annual meeting and Bar-B-Que. The club’s annual meeting is open to all members. For the members who customarily bring your wives or lady friends to our tournament, please feel free to include them in your reservations for the Bar-B-Que. Please !!! If you do intend to bowl in the tournament or attend the annual meeting get your reservations in as soon as possible. We have to make arrangements for the preparation and ordering of food.

Our Club’s membership dues for the 2007-2008 season became due on May 1^st. For you members who wish to Bowl in the July 29^th tournament and attend the Annual

Meeting and luncheon, you will need to pay the $20.00

The BY-LAWS of the Metro East Men’s 700 Bowling Club can only be amended at the ANNUAL MEETING’. In order for an amendment to be considered, the proposed amendment must be first introduced at an OFFICAL MEETING’ conducted prior to the ANNUAL MEETING upon receiving a majority vote of the members present, formal acceptance or rejection of the proposed amendment will be tabled until the next ANNUAL MEETING.

Check Cashing Policy

Personal checks will be accepted for entry fees into our tournaments. If you cash in the tournament and your prize money or bracket moneys are sufficient to cover your check, you will be expected to buy back your check. Should your check be returned for insufficient funds you will be charged $25 and given 5 days to clear the check. The second time your check doesn’t clear, your check cashing privileges will be permanently revoked. Failure to reimburse the club in a timely manner for a returned check will be cause to terminate your membership. When this happens, a letter is forwarded to USBC with a request to revoke your USBC membership and a lien placed on all league prize money you are eligible to receive. At the same time, consideration will be given to having the club’s attorney initiate legal action for collection of the amount owed to the club. We realize honest mistakes happen, but is your responsibility to make good on your returned check.
