MetroEast Masters League
The Metro East Masters League is one of the premiere scratch leagues in the St. Louis Metro area. It was established in 1993 with two purposes in mind. First, to help raise money for local charities, and second, to allow up and coming good bowlers to bowl with and against the best scratch bowlers in the area.
We have 12 teams of drafted bowlers. Each team has five bowlers. Teams use four bowlers per game with the 5th bowler on the bench. The league rotates between four centers in the Metro East area. They are Bel-Air Bowl in Belleville; Hi Top Bowl in Highland; Camelot Bowl in Collinsville, and St. Clair Bowl in O’Fallon.
The bowlers of our league take great pride in both the competition they provide and the fact that they are helping to raise money for various charities in the metro-east area. During our twenty-four seasons we have donated over $134,000. At the end of the 2016-2017 season we donated over $4,000.00. The bowlers raise most of the charity money themselves. This is done through a weekly fee and a weekly 50/50 drawing. $100.00 of each sponsor’s fee is added to charity fund.
